CyCognito Unveils Integration with ServiceNow to Optimize Asset Management and Incident Response

Customers can now improve visibility and management of assets with ServiceNow CIs in the CMDB

CyCognito today announced a CMDB (configuration management database) integration with ServiceNow, offering end-to-end synchronization for managing asset inventory. Building on Cycognito’s existing integration with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, this new integration provides seamless synchronization of CyCognito assets with ServiceNow Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB. This allows for the creation, updating and deletion of CIs based on the status of assets in the CyCognito platform, facilitating quick assessment and response to configuration and asset changes.

Available in the ServiceNow Store, the integration offers customers a number of key features:

• Creation of ServiceNow CMDB CIs: Automatically create CMDB Configuration Items based on CyCognito asset data.
• Automatic Updates: CI records are automatically updated based on detected modifications to CyCognito assets.
• Enhanced Integration: Asset CI data is available to power additional integrations between CyCognito and ServiceNow CMDB.
