Staying one step ahead with SOC 2 Certification

At CyCognito, our mission is to help organizations protect themselves from even the most sophisticated attackers. We can’t do that unless we ourselves maintain the highest standards of security. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that CyCognito has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 accreditation.

SOC 2 certification indicates that we, as an organization, adhere to the highest levels of compliance around our own information security. This certification means that an independent audit discovered we are compliant on all 5 Trust Security Criteria.

Compliance in security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy is essential for establishing trust online. Each of these 5 Trust Security Criteria work together to develop an overall system of trust with how information security is handled within an organization.  Whether it’s a question of how we store and process customer data, or how we process payment information, compliance in each of these areas is something we take very seriously. We want every organization we work with to trust that we can deliver the same level of security and compliance we expect of our own customers.

CyCognito’s approach to tomorrow

This commitment to compliance around our own information security predates the SOC 2 Type 2 certification. To us, it’s a given that we treat our customers’ information with the highest level of security standards available, and have done so since our company formed. SOC 2 Certification is the industry standard for compliance with the 5 Trust Security Criteria and therefore something we see as essential.

We want to stay ahead of potential problems, not respond to them. It’s true for our customers and the products we sell to help them minimize the risk of attack. It’s true for our own company as well. The SOC 2 certification helps us stay ahead of the everchanging risks surrounding information security, so our customers can trust that we are keeping their data safe.
